This unique modern shag rug is woven using a innovative blend of 20% cotton and 80% bamboo. Did we say bamboo? ... yes that's right, bamboo! This rug features the signature lush, dense pile of traditional shag rugs and not only is it soft, it’s softer and silkier than traditional shag rugs made from wool, cotton or synthetic fibers. This hypoallergenic shag rug should be fluffed up when first unrolled as it will initially be matted down. A Rug pad is recommended for this eco-friendly shag rug.
